The Eyes Speak of Sickness But the Mouth Speaks of Fudgesicles

It's been a long week, and getting longer!! The kids have been coughing and wheezing for a week now. Only 1 or 2 kids get it at the same time so it's going to take a while to get through this. Then when I think it's over with one child a day or two later they get it again. But their achy bodies and sore throats don't stop them from enjoying their chocolate fudgesicles I'm letting them have. But only, and not until they drink their juice mixed with either a juiced garlic clove or a teaspoon of echinacea. Amazing what a kid will do when you bribe them!

Mary and Janai are camping out on the livingroom floor with a sleeping bag and movie. I think the fudgesicle hit the spot because these are the first smiles I've seen in days! I suggested we go wash their mouths but they said, "why do that, they'll only get yucky again when we have another fudgesicle." I think they plan on staying sick for as long as they can.

Praying for healing for your two girls. :)

Pardon my ignorance, but here in Australia I haven't heard of Fudgesicles. Could you please give me the recipe - it sounds delightful. *YUM*

Have a wonderful week,
Blessings

I had fun visiting here. I can't tell exactly but I guess you live near a lake or river or on an island....I just saw a place to click to read about it.
Dating adventures how fun. Wonder what she ended up doing. My daughter had something like that happen once and I made her tell both guys and work it out. So funny because she is 35 and the boy she had to tell what happened ran into her and told her he still remembered all that (o:
