We are happily in the middle of wedding plans around our place and loving it. We are so happy for Christie and Jeff and their upcoming wedding which was going to be in November but because of conflicting schedules between our families and the fact that Jeff will be well into his semester in college it has been moved to SEPT. 1st!! Why not? After all, the decision to marry has been made, the ring has been given, so why not marry the happy couple!! And now that the initial shock is over that we experienced with the change of dates I admit that we have settled nicely into the details and planning of the happy day. Between everything going on with wedding plans, homeschool preparations for the upcoming year, and winding down on summer fun I don't feel rushed, overwhelmed or out of my mind! Things are calm, happy, and moving along well. And here I would love to share a few engagement photos that sister Robyn took of Christie and Jeff and sister Juli edited.

Juli's Wedding revisited

I am revisiting this precious daughter's wedding because my Miss Emma added the wedding cd of photos to our computer. Upon looking at them again I was filled with joy and happiness as our family celebrated the first of what will be many weddings to come.

When I grow up I want to be as pretty as Juli!! (My little Mary told me this when we looking at them.)

When Juli was married we had many little kids. Here is a look at us as we traveled to Denver to give our first born away.

Juli with her 7 little sisters. Our youngest daughter Mary doesn't like the idea of her sisters getting a photo without her in all their pretty dresses! She doesn't quite get the idea that she wasn't even born yet!

Our family isn't the only one with lots of girls. Here Juli is with her "new" sisters and her "old" ones! Husband Kelly has 15 siblings so Juli got lots of new sisters and brothers.

For me, this was the next sweetest part of the whole deal. The day AFTER the wedding we caught up with Juli and Kelly and enjoyed a breakfast together before going our separate ways. It was kind of nice to be able to get a 2nd chance to say bye to my baby!

We enjoyed a long breakfast with the new couple since this mama just couldn't part! I wanted it to linger and linger.

I end this post with just one question.....

WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GROW UP?

I actually know why! And as hard as it is to see them moving on, getting married and having children of their own I know that it is just the thing that brings the greatest happiness and joy we could ever hope to find in the whole entire world and they want it as much as we (I) do!

She said YES!

We are all so very excited to share the news of Christie's engagement to Jeff. The big day will be some time in November! (update! September 1st. is the big day! Fits better for his school, his traveling family with 7 siblings, parents, and grandparents, and the happy couple!) This is definitely a banner year for our family with 2 of our precious daughters getting married! We love it and feel so very blessed!

I love the happiness in her face, she is absolutely glowing.

The question is - How do I choose favorite photos out of so many? I tried to keep it short and sweet! But after all, it is called a wedding, a bride, and a groom! What better photos to share anywhere than a lovely new couple in love! May they speak for themselves!
