Two conversations that went south in a hurry!

I was upstairs readying children for bed while at the same time tidying up when I had a question.  There were a pile of curlers in a pile on my floor I was picking up when one of the twins walked into my room.  Only using my peripheral vision I was certain of which twin it was.

Mom-"Kaydee, do you know where the plastic bag is that these curlers go in?"

Twin-"Emma"

Mom-"Oh, Emma knows?"

Twin-"NO, Emma."

Mom-"I know Emma knows, ask her?"

Twin-"NOOOOO, I'm Emma!"

A conversation with Mary~~

Upon entering the bathroom I noticed there were a pair of underpants in the toilet.  Mary was in the other room wrestling with daddy.

Mom-MARY NOWELLE!  Come to the bathroom.

I heard daddy say in a small voice, "Uh oh, she used the middle name."

Mary came in the bathroom and asked what I needed.  I said, "Mary, did you throw that underwear into the toilet?"

Mary-"I don't know, ask who!"

Mom- "I am asking who, I'm asking you!"

Mary-"But please ask who again, ask "who" to all the people and not just me!"

So funny! Do you ever write these down? We have a funnies journal, and when we think of it, we write down the name and date and the funny thing said. The kids love reading them later!

I have written some down. But lately I put them on the computer in a 'funny' folder. I worry about that though if my computer cracks up so I thought I would just blog about them. But even then I am going to have to take the time to write them down on paper!!

Tricia,

Tee hee! So, when I have children, are these the type of lovely conversations I can expect to have too? :)
