Aubryn and Mary Have the Same Idea

I snagged this photo of granddaughter Aubryn (left) from my daughter's blog and I had to chuckle because I just recently snapped this photo of my Mary (right) when I was looking around for my glasses. I catch Mary with them all the time! Not sure where Aubryn's came from but I think they are both so cute!

They look alike. Were you pregnant at the same time your daughter was? Our oldest granddaughter and our youngest son are 4 years apart, which made him an uncle so very young. But, it looks like Mary was an aunt as a baby.

Actually, Aubryn was a few months old when I got pregnant with Mary. So Mary became an Aunt at birth. Aubryn is close to a year older than Mary. Our Janai was 18 months when Aubryn was born so she was a young Aunt too!

Dear Tricia,

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting. My, you have a gorgeous family! I like your blog. The picture above is especially cute. My daughter, even though she's 11, likes to take my reading glasses and put them on! I guess there's just something fun about it. Or maybe grown up. It's especially sweet to see your two pictures side by side -- daughter and granddaughter!

Great pics of the precious Aunt and niece.
I remember being fascinated by my parents glasses and when I put them on there would be big dips in the ground because, of course, they were too strong for me.

I haven't been able to "visit" with you for a while so today I spent time at "your house" catching up! I love your pictures and your family. Sooo cute!
Thank you for your comments on my blog. You are an encouragement to me! We really DO want to do what the Lord wants us to do as far as our home is concerned. I guess I want security (having our home paid off or close to it...) while I am much closer to God when I am less "secure" financially. He wants us to depend on Him and not ourselves. I just have to KEEP on learning that...
Love in Christ,
Beth
