Today, January 3 is our daughter in law Heather's birthday. It is such a treat to have her as a part of our family. She swept Vance Jr. off his feet nearly 4 years ago this April when they married. Then she swept his family off their feet with her sweet, kind, gentle, personality. And I count it all pleasure to claim her as another daughter. After all, one can't have too many daughters can they?
Heather is seen here carrying her and Vance's second baby and our 4th grandbaby. She is due in June 2010 and we are all excited to have another addition to our ever growing family. We love you tons Heather. Have a great Birthday!!

You are gratly blessed to have this lovely daughter in law. I think it is special in christian families to have close in law relationships. So maligned in the world.

Oh my goodness, I just discovered your wonderful blog and even more wonderful family! I wish (TRULY!) that I had 12 kids! I do, however, have 5 of my own, 3 step children, 3 in law kids, and 2 grandbabies with two on the way! (One is being induced on THURSDAY!!!!! Excited grammy here!)
I agree with Ruby, I have the most wonderful daughters-in-law in the world! I just can't imagine fighting with them!
We are prayerfully considering adopting one or more children in need of families...because we're parents in need of more children! Hopefully the Lord will grant our prayer request!
I love your blog and your pretty pictures, your own and the "poster" type pictures. I wish I knew how to add the old fashioned posters to my blog!
