I was over on Cinnamon's blog last night when I found this amazingly simple, no fuss, no mess recipe for granola and this morning we tried it out. It was so very good. I have a feeling we will be making a lot of this. I took her basic recipe and added a few things. Well, okay, maybe a lot of things. Thanks for posting it!! Here is the base recipe from Cinnamon's blog~~
6 Cups oats
1 C honey
I added about 3/4 peanut butter to the honey and let it melt before I added the oats. But that's just because my kids really like peanut butter. That's it. I thought no way, nothing is this easy so I contacted her about it and sure enough I had read it correctly. Melt the honey and mix it with the oats and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. I used a glass dish and I turned off the oven at 20 minutes and let it sit in the oven until I was ready to feed the kids. Then the fun began. They drug out dried cranberries, slivered almonds, sunflower seeds, and I'm ashamed to say, chocolate chips. Well, there goes the "good for you granola" but they loved it and ate it up. I am about to start another batch. This time I'll make sure I have enough to last a while. I'll probably at least triple it!!!

Don't you love it! It really is so easy. We kept ours plain this time but normally we are adding to it like you. We've never tried peanut butter but we love it too so maybe that'll be out next batch :-) Glad you're enjoying it~
