Homeschooling~The Early Years

If you are just beginning to homeschool or are considering it for the future here is a resource well worth looking into. An excerpt:

A Parent's Chief Duty
1. Understand that bringing up and educating your child is the most important job in society.
2. Form in your child right habits of thinking and behaving.
3. Nourish your child's mind with loving, right, and noble ideas.

Thank you! :) We don't HomeSchool but I would really love to. I'm praying my husband will have a change of heart about it.

Character first, academics second.

Oh how true. Relax and teach them the important things like love and trust, and enjoying being together. Other things will come!

I really like this. I remind myself daily about character and not academics. We love homeschooling and we have challenges that character needs extra boost. With all the push from the secular world, it's very easy to forget.
