Is it too late for me to squash the tooth fairy idea?

In all seriousness now, I am asking myself what I started over 20 years ago when the teeth began to fall out of the mouths of my children! Maybe I just didn't know any better. After all, the tooth fairy was always faithful and on time when I was a kid. I just assumed she/he would stay that way. But now, I'm thinking that the tooth fairy must have run out of gas or gotten old, or something because in my house she is a naughty, forgetful, loathsome creature that can't keep up! This child misplaced 3 teeth in just one week! She's not even giving her little sisters time to catch up. Let alone the forgetful, naughty, broke tooth fairy that's been camped out on my doorstep for the last 2 decades!!

Good luck with that! I think we're skipping that little chore at our house... and now I'm twice glad, LOL!

She has a beautiful smile, despite the missing teeth!

LOL....the toothfairy almost ALWAYS forgets to come to my house too! How could that be?? LOL...she's a cutie pie! We started leaving the tooth on the kitchen table, not under a pillow...so at least one person old enough to not "believe" in the toohtfairy will see it and leave something! Hehehe...

Wow....that same tooth fairy is the one who comes to our house;-)
Many a night has passed by and the tooth /teeth aren't retrieved, and she forgets or is to tired again the next night ....oops! What a bed full of pretty girls you have.
Blessings,
Laura

Ahhh yes, she gets "tied up" around here too. One time someone thought she must have stopped off at Disney Land!! LOL What's really bad is that when my mom lived with us, she used to double the reward! Now that my mom has passed on, my youngest fully expects the same reward as her older sisters....regardless of the fact that Grandma is now in heaven.

LOL! I guess we squashed her years ago and just did a mommy/daddy fun :) The tooth fairy here got amnesia and forgot all too often...hehe!

LOL. I saw where she was wishing for her 2 front teeth for Christmas. I guess it's 3 she is wanting now!

That's hilarious! I was just lamenting the opposite thing; that I had not introduced the Tooth Fairy early on. I have a son that is collecting his teeth and I would rather not find them around thou house! HA!
Well... we all learn, be it sooner or later ;-)
