Daddy's Famous PROTEIN Shake

My husband takes his protein seriously!! He makes this shake right after he runs his 5 miles or after a session of lifting weights. So if you are looking for protein, this is for you!!

He starts with filling the blender with lots of raw milk, a tablespoon or two of whey, chocolate syrup, which I weaned him from and had him use natural cocoa. Then he adds a few frozen bananas,

a couple of whopping tablespoons of ground flax,

a huge scoop of all natural peanut butter,

about a cup of organic cottage cheese, then he tops it off with 4 or 5 fresh from the farm eggs.

Whips it all in the blender and gulps it down while I watch and try to keep my stomach from turning upside down!!

I was thinking....mmmm, that sound good until....the raw eggs... yuck! ha ha

I'm sure you can't even tell they're in there after it's all mixed up.

Very good mixture! I'm not sure I could handle the milk though...being lactose intolerant... but it sounds good to me!! Love peanut butter, cottage cheese, chocolate and bananas! *Have had much experience with blending raw eggs into a drink & you can't even tell it's there*

It is just garlic/parsley bread from dinner the night before :)

My friend makes goat cheese, but she just moved far far away from me...but I will get her recipe for you if you want it!

It is so hard to just stop and concentrate on learning something new like that isn't it?

Do you make yogurt? I use my crock-pot for that - it is super easy!
