Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.~Matthew 18.3
I have learned so much from my children and I know I will continue to learn from them. So, "I need to make sure I'm a fast learner, because they won't always be around to hold my hand."
This is a great idea - do you come up with ideas like this yourself or find them on different websites? Would love for you to share other ideas like these :) Ali
Very fun and crafty. I love the playful header. She is a sweety.
You asked about my Bible time narrations: It varies, but usually I get Daily Audio Bible going in the mornings before devotion time, when everyone is nearly done with chores. They narrate parts of that which they like. Before devotions, each one 8 and older gets something from their keys for kids or devotional book, or Bible. They take turns narrating that and it might be a simple verse or a whole chapter or more. Depends on the child, and I stay lenient on it so it's not a chore. Then we may sing hymns from our hymn books, or praise songs (me on guitar), or share prayer requests and pray. Not always the same. Big kids are the group thats 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 17. Little kids are the little girls: 4 (nearly 5), 6 (nearly 7) and 8 (nearly 9!) (plus the baby who is 1 1/2).
Sometimes I just have them tell about their stuff and we do a devotional book on missionaries, and pray. When my husband is home He asks them to share and then he reads and leads the prayer time.

I love that little scene. Do you call that a diarama> We have done a few similar ones over the years.
P.S. Check the title!

Those are great! Our kids have done those when they were in p. school but I never thought to do them at home :-) Thanks for the suggestion.
