Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.~Matthew 18.3 I have learned so much from my children and I know I will continue to learn from them. So, "I need to make sure I'm a fast learner, because they won't always be around to hold my hand."

Emma Recites the Pater Noster
Each week the kids get a new copy work/memory work assignment. Mon-Fri they write the same thing each day for copy work and each day they read their assignment 10x. When Fri. rolls around they recite back to me from memory. Emma got the idea that she wanted me to record her doing her Latin translation of the Lord's prayer. Well, that opened up a can of worms for the rest of the kids and they begged me to record theirs too. I told them I would but not all at once because it takes forever to download and upload or whatever it's called! To read my post on Why Study Latin click HERE.

Nice job. And it only took a week. That's great!
I'm impressed! What a cool thing to do.
Excellent Emma. That's a great job.
I'm really enjoying reading your blog. Can't wait to read more.
Hi Tricia,
We started learning Latin, and our children have remembered the Pater Noster, too. :)
We still use it, as the children will remember it that way.
Have a wonderful and blessed Easter,
Love, Jillian ♥
I studied latin all through my high school homeschool years. It has sure been a blessing now that I am homeschooling my own kids.
