You Are Spoiling Those Kids!!!

This is what daddy says when I make all white flour bread!! But I don't really think it will spoil them. Whenever I have a very busy evening routine and I don't get my wheat flour to soaking then I have to resort to white flour to make our 'daily bread!' But who's complaining??? Certainly nobody around here!!

I take 1 C. very hot water and combine that with 1 C. milk. Add 2 T. yeast and 1/4 C. honey to liquid. Let sit for 5 minutes. To this add 2t. salt, 2 eggs, 1/2 stick melted butter, and about 7-8 C. unbleached flour. Let rise until double (about an hour) shape into loaves and let rise for 15 minutes. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove from loaf pans and spread with butter and place a towel over them until cool enough to slice.

Hi Tricia,
I make all white bread cakes, but it is not spoiling our children, as we have allergies to wholemeal flour.

We do have multi-grain bread, though. :)

Your bread looks great!

Have a wonderful week,
Blessings,
Jillian

Thank you for visiting! I had fun looking at all your pictures...that's a lot of sewing! Keep it up, we love making skirts, but we have more fabric than completed projects :)
Blessings, Kathy

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Jessica and I are not related, but it is very funny that you say that about the girls, because I recently see how very much my youngest (Bailey) looks like Gracie! It is funny that someone else saw it too! :) Well, I can't wait to keep coming back to your wonderful blog!
