She's a cutie! And ...LOVED the video of Mary! She's a cutie! And I just had to laugh with your grammar comment. Of course, being a Southerner -- we're just born to speak incorrectly! Probably my most irritating grammar faux pas that I have to live with on a constant basis (from hubby) is the use of "them" as an adjective! Seriously??? But he's not even a southerner!!! Oh-- and he'll pray, "Prepare our heart to come to church in the morning!" I just have to cringe! It's GO TO CHURCH!!!!!! LOL!!!Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07696338978798243909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3314081905077305695.post-64565193267144431932012-03-23T20:54:33.113-05:002012-03-23T20:54:33.113-05:00I will certainly have to come back and soak in you...I will certainly have to come back and soak in your wisdom! We've home schooled for a little over 11 years and this year for some reason has brought me to a point of being tired...no, exhausted is a better word I think. I'm needing something, but can't put my finger on it right now.

Anyway, thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog! I love flowers too. I especially love the kind that come back year after year. Just today I was glancing at my perennial herb bed and found flowers from my Thyme. I simply started small and started researching which perennials liked the shade and which ones liked the sun. Each year I add something new to our perennial herbs and flowers.

For annuals, I love impatiens. They fill out whatever pot I put them in and they can handle shade and full sun as long as they're watered abundantly. I love spikes just simply for vertical interest and vinca vines in my pots so they spill out all over. I like begonias and petunias because they're colorful and sun hearty. There are so many beautiful flowers out there and I just don't have all their names to share. Each flower or plant lends itself to visual interest and is such a lovely sensation overload.

One year I tried getting as many different flowering plants as I could that had different textures to put in to my flower boxes. I have a child who has sensory integration concerns, so we had a lovely time with planting that year and experiencing all those beautiful plants. We didn't plant any cactus, which is a good thing too! LOL

Anyway, I am so glad to "meet" you! I'll be back to read a bit here and there.

Blessings,
ReginaReginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03723884153929593267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3314081905077305695.post-4996354240269994612012-03-23T20:16:44.772-05:002012-03-23T20:16:44.772-05:00so, so fun to read what is going on in your lives ...so, so fun to read what is going on in your lives and school day.
Our weather was extremely nice ,too and I had to laugh at the grammar usage....I and my kids(oops,is that proper grammar--no,it should be switched lol!) are constantly correcting one another and they especially love to correct dad!ccchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17911664153987604602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3314081905077305695.post-15781197678794123492012-03-23T13:40:41.395-05:002012-03-23T13:40:41.395-05:00I forgot to ask you in my last comment.
